Process Technician - 3rd Shift (Plastic Extrusion)

Location: Fitchburg, Massachusetts, USA. Onsite third-shift role from 10:45 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Salary: $30.25 per hour plus a $1.75 shift differential.

What you will do

• Run, set up, and troubleshoot plastic injection molding and extrusion machinery.
• Start equipment, monitor and adjust machine parameters, and support production changeovers.
• Use precision instruments to monitor temperatures, pressures, gauges, and other process measurements.
• Perform tests and inspections to verify product quality and production compliance.
• Collaborate with inspectors and packers to meet quality and production goals.
• Maintain production records and participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of experience in plastic extrusion or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, efficiency, communication, and teamwork.
• Ability to bend, squat, push, pull, climb stairs and ladders, drive a forklift, and lift up to 50 pounds.
