Logistics Operation Coordinator (Air & Ocean Operations)

Location: Santa Ana, California, USA. Work hours: Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, including weekend shifts based on operational requirements.

Compensation: USD 28–31 per hour.

What you will do

• Create daily tracking reports for air export, ocean import, OTR, and weekend operations.
• Coordinate departure schedules with ports, terminals, airports, terminal operators, customs brokers, airlines, and freight forwarders.
• Track ocean containers, rail intermodal units, and air shipments while validating import documentation and proof of delivery.
• Prepare and review air export documentation, including MAWB, HAWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, SLI, and export declarations.
• Coordinate cargo receiving, screening, palletizing, ULD build-up, customs clearance, dangerous goods compliance, and shipment exceptions.
• Communicate with logistics partners, internal supply chain teams, and customers; manage claims, escalations, rebookings, KPIs, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of logistics coordination experience focused on international air and ocean freight operations.
• Hands-on experience in international air, ocean, and OTR freight forwarding, transload warehouse operations, and truckload dispatch.
• Strong knowledge of international freight regulations, customs procedures, hazardous materials requirements, and security standards.
• Proficiency with ERP and logistics systems such as SAP, TMS, WMS, or equivalent.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP; English communication skills required.
