Supplier Quality Engineer IV (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Gloucester, Massachusetts, or Billerica, Massachusetts, United States. Travel required up to 20% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $116,000.00–$159,500.00 per year

What you will do

• Evaluate technical requirements for new and existing products and recommend qualified materials and suppliers to improve savings, lead times, system performance, product life, and risk mitigation.
• Work with New Product Development teams to clarify engineering drawing requirements and communicate expectations to suppliers.
• Partner with New Product Introduction teams and suppliers on specifications and design for manufacturability.
• Support supplier selection and develop a competitive supply base across quality, cost, delivery, and technology.
• Lead supplier technical audits, evaluate supplier performance and capability, and train other supplier engineers on audit processes.
• Lead quality problem resolution, incident management, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and systemic supplier improvements.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in a specialized engineering or quality discipline.
• Ability to interpret business and technical challenges and recommend best practices.
• Experience leading teams or projects with moderate complexity and resource requirements.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Must work in Gloucester or Billerica, Massachusetts, United States; relocation is not eligible.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
