Vice President, Trading and Product Risk Intelligence

Location: Hybrid work with defined in-person presence requirements in the United States. Listed work locations include Washington, DC; Los Angeles and San Francisco, CA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Jericho and New York, NY; Jersey City and Woodbridge, NJ; Philadelphia, PA; Rockville, MD; Tysons, VA; Connecticut; and Washington State.

Salary: $192,800–$379,700 annually for Washington, DC and most listed locations; $300,000–$350,000 for Los Angeles and San Francisco.

What you will do

• Lead a team of product and market intelligence experts identifying, analyzing, and predicting emerging risks, regulatory trends, threats, and critical market events.
• Oversee strategic intelligence products, assessments, briefings, and communications for senior leadership, regulatory staff, and external stakeholders.
• Develop intelligence frameworks, collection strategies, standards, and dissemination protocols.
• Advise senior management and business stakeholders on regulatory oversight, emerging risks, and intelligence-driven initiatives.
• Build relationships with hirify.global leaders, the SEC, regulators, law enforcement agencies, intelligence partners, exchanges, and market infrastructure providers.
• Plan team priorities, staffing, training, technology, budgets, and organizational development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; an advanced business, law, or other graduate degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in intelligence collection, analysis, dissemination, and planning.
• Deep expertise in intelligence-cycle strategies, methodologies, structures, collection requirements, and policy development.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. broker-dealers, financial regulation, financial markets, market operations, and complex financial products.
• Experience applying technology innovation to business problems through software products and analytics.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication, judgment, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Law degree, advanced business degree, or other graduate degree.
• Previous experience at a broker-dealer or financial institution.
• Experience with financial products, market operations, intelligence methodologies, or related specialized fields.
