What you will do

• Design complex electronic subsystems and complete assemblies for digital, analog, and RF signal control.
• Lead control-system designs and enhancements for Apollo and Lumos quantum computers.
• Drive cross-disciplinary integration for fast ion transport electrical designs.
• Perform advanced circuit analysis and simulations, identify technical risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead design reviews, ensure product robustness, and deliver designs in an R&D and rapid-prototyping environment.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical expertise for future product development and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience specifying, developing, and testing analog electronic products.
• Strong experience with ADCs/DACs, amplifiers, passive and active filtering, analog control loops, and low-noise design and measurements.
• Experience with schematic entry and PCB layout; Altium experience is preferred.
• Background in feedback control systems, including servo loops, motor control, or laser locking.
• Must be a U.S. Person and eligible to work under U.S. Government contractual requirements; nationals of China or Russia are ineligible unless also U.S. citizens.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience delivering designs from concept through production.
• Ability to simplify complex problems and make sound engineering tradeoffs.
