Human Resources Business Partner (Defense)

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders on organizational performance, workforce planning, team effectiveness, and people strategies.
• Lead talent reviews, organizational design initiatives, succession planning, and development programs.
• Coach leaders through performance management, investigations, employee relations matters, and corrective actions.
• Develop leadership capability in accountability, communication, decision-making, and team performance.
• Improve HR processes and service delivery while driving annual People programs and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner experience.
• Experience supporting technical, engineering, manufacturing, or operations organizations and both exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Experience with workforce planning, talent development, organizational design, and performance management.
• Strong understanding of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices.
• Ability to influence without authority, build credibility across organizational levels, and translate people data into business recommendations.
• Employment may require access to classified information, restricted U.S. Government sites, export-controlled information, security clearance, government authorization, or other eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, hardware, or other highly technical organizations.
• Experience supporting hypergrowth organizations.
• Master's degree or PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
