Commodity Management Professional (Procurement)

Location: Hybrid remote/office in Germany or Czechia; listed German locations include Mülheim an der Ruhr, Berlin, and Erlangen.

What you will do

• Develop and execute forward-looking commodity strategies for global service operations and regional organizations.
• Lead cross-functional commodity circle teams focused on cost, delivery, quality, lead times, and capacity.
• Manage commodity structures, supplier market intelligence, and periodic commodity health reporting.
• Define negotiation strategies and negotiate frame contracts and price lists.
• Select, onboard, classify, evaluate, and develop strategic suppliers.
• Identify procurement risks and opportunities through supplier market analysis and integrate findings into ecosystem strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent experience, in business, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive procurement experience with a proven track record, ideally in a global organization.
• Strong commercial and technical understanding of procurement, project management, and international contract law.
• Experience in a multinational procurement or supply chain function.
• Fluent English is required.
