Manufacturing Technician - 1st Shift

Location: Shakopee, Minnesota, United States (GHQ); on-site first-shift role

Salary: $23.93–$35.10 per hour, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Build, test, troubleshoot, and prepare hirify.global products for shipment according to customer requirements.
• Complete mechanical and electrical assembly, testing, equipment calibration, routine repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Provide product-quality feedback to assemblers, leaders, and engineering.
• Identify and facilitate process improvements that reduce costs and improve quality.
• Ensure products meet order specifications and manufacturing processes comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Follow safety procedures, maintain workplace cleanliness, and support training and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, automated systems, robotics, or a related field, or equivalent verifiable training.
• High mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Ability to lift and install mechanical assemblies or materials weighing up to 50 pounds and perform standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience assembling and testing electro-mechanical equipment, industrial automation equipment, or specialized machines.
