Senior Field Application Engineer (Power Semiconductors)

Location: Remote in Minnesota or Illinois; local travel to key customers up to 50% and frequent onsite technical support required.

What you will do

• Provide primary pre- and post-sales technical support to key customers in the North-Central area.
• Engage customer engineering teams and secure design wins using power products and services.
• Provide onsite technical support, review designs, perform lab measurements, debug systems, and solve power-related issues.
• Identify customer power requirements, market changes, and competitor activity.
• Share customer feedback with product lines and help define new products and product strategy.
• Present power products and technology as the local subject matter expert while working with sales and product teams.

Requirements

• BSEE or MSEE with 5+ years of power management and analog systems experience.
• Hands-on experience with point-of-load DC-DC power conversion.
• Strong schematic and layout review, lab measurement, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with customer power engineering teams and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Verbal and written proficiency in English.
• Ability to travel locally up to 50% to key customers.

Nice to have

• Multiphase DC-DC experience with Intel or AMD CPUs, ASICs, or FPGAs.
