Production Designer (Digital Design)

Location: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, OR, or Austin, TX; onsite 5 days per week for 2–3 months during specific projects, remote at other times

Salary: $65,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Create pixel-perfect digital design files in partnership with Visual Designers, Art Directors, and creative and production teams.
• Clean up design files and convert original designs into templates for multiple viewport sizes.
• Produce banners, emails, and landing pages at a consistent pace with minimal direction.
• Maintain accurate assets, layers, groups, file names, and linked files.
• Update existing designs, including glyphs, icons, copy, and image swaps, without requiring creative input.
• Create specification documentation and guide the development of ownable client experiences.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong digital design portfolio featuring banners, emails, and landing pages across viewport sizes.
• Ability to follow design systems and adapt designs to varying requirements and technical specifications.
• Proactive communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects with large, changing teams.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days per week for 2–3 months at a time during specific projects.

Nice to have

• Experience building responsive websites.
• Experience working with HTML syntax.
