Senior Visual Designer

Location: San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, OR, or Austin, TX. Onsite work is required five days per week for 2–3 months at a time during specific projects; remote work is available at other times of the year.

Base compensation: $85,000–$110,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design end-to-end digital website projects and experiences for a major creative technology client.
• Translate creative concepts, product stories, and copy into clear, compelling designs across screens and contexts.
• Develop differentiating, modern, on-brand visual design with strong craft and attention to detail.
• Work within established design systems and component libraries while identifying opportunities for new patterns.
• Partner with Visual Design, Art Direction, UX, Copy, Motion, Production, and client teams.
• Present design solutions, incorporate feedback, maintain quality through final builds, and mentor less experienced designers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of digital design experience, including websites and digital experiences in an agency or in-house environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating modern visual design and a high level of craft.
• Mastery of Figma and Sketch, with strong knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Keynote.
• Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work as both a proactive individual contributor and a strong team member.
