Business Engagement & Technology, Associate Director - Clinical & Early Development (AI)

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Hybrid-eligible or on-site eligible: hybrid work allows up to two remote days per week, or employees may work on-site five days per week.

Base salary: $164,400–$246,600 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus and annual equity awards.

What you will do

• Lead business engagement for Clinical Development and Early Development within DTE.
• Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to define priorities, capability needs, and technology roadmaps.
• Translate business requirements into scalable systems, workflows, operating processes, and digital solutions.
• Manage demand intake, prioritization, business cases, process improvements, and system enhancement planning.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data, analytics, quality, security, and compliance teams to deliver aligned solutions.
• Drive stakeholder alignment, change management, adoption, continuous improvement, and executive communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent education in life sciences, business, information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Typically 10+ years of relevant experience in business engagement, business relationship management, IT/DTE partnering, product management, or similar roles.
• Experience supporting Clinical Development or Early Development in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences organizations.
• Experience delivering AI business use cases and designing systems and processes for development organizations, including Translational Medicine and First-in-Human studies.
• Experience with clinical pharmacology, quantitative pharmacology, pharmacometrics, modeling and simulation, and platforms such as Metworx, Certara Phoenix, and PK/PD data environments.
• Experience working in regulated environments with governance, validation, quality, compliance, roadmap planning, stakeholder management, and cross-functional delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile, product operating models, or other structured delivery methodologies.
• Advanced graduate degree such as an MBA or MS.
• Experience in global biotechnology or pharmaceutical organizations.
