Assistant Vice President, Product Management (AI)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; onsite at 121 Seaport Blvd

Annual base salary: $171,300–$214,120 USD

What you will do

• Own a 12–18 month technology product roadmap for advisor copilots, client context, proposal generation, next-best-action, and book management.
• Partner with Wealth Management leaders, advisors, field operations, distribution, and engineering to identify problems and define digital solutions.
• Write PRDs and technical specifications, establish model-quality and latency criteria, and evaluate RAG pipelines and agent behavior.
• Lead rapid AI prototype cycles and ensure outputs support advisor judgment through appropriate human-in-the-loop controls.
• Coordinate launches with Compliance, Legal, Supervision, field enablement, and operations, including training and adoption measurement.
• Lead a small product management team, coach junior PMs, and influence VP-level stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, including at least 4 years in AI/ML or digital product roles.
• Experience shipping digital or AI-powered products to production and owning measurable adoption outcomes.
• Prior product ownership in wealth management, brokerage, financial services, or another regulated environment.
• Production LLM experience, including prompt design, context-window management, structured outputs, agentic AI, model evaluation, SQL, A/B testing, cohort analysis, and shadow deployments.
• Strong knowledge of advisor workflows, managed accounts, proposal and portfolio construction, custody and clearing, suitability, Reg BI, fiduciary considerations, and FINRA supervision.
• FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) required or must be obtained early in employment. Bachelor’s degree required; Series 7 and advanced credentials are beneficial.

Nice to have

• Advisor-platform product experience at a broker-dealer, RIA platform, asset manager, or wealth-focused fintech.
• CFP, CFA, CIMA, PMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification.
• Experience building 0→1 AI products, MCP integrations, multi-agent products, or advisor research programs.
