Senior Product Owner (AI & Data)

Location: Portugal; fully remote

What you will do

• Drive day-to-day execution across multiple development teams and remove delivery blockers.
• Prioritize backlogs and translate product initiatives and business needs into detailed requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and workflow diagrams.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and coordinate work across product management, engineering, UX, QA, project management, operations, and customer-facing teams.
• Contribute execution-level input to roadmap planning, including capacity, sequencing, feasibility, and risk.
• Plan and coordinate releases across multiple products or systems, aligning dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Mentor other product owners and improve execution standards across the team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, Business Analyst, or similar software development professional.
• Experience coordinating delivery across multiple teams and managing complex priorities, dependencies, and deadlines.
• Ability to turn AI capabilities into clear, buildable requirements; model-building experience is not required.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, technical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
• Deep experience with Scrum or other Agile frameworks, including release and delivery coordination.
• Upper-hirify.globalte or higher English proficiency and strong asynchronous communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience coordinating multiple Scrum teams or cross-product release trains.
• Product Ownership or Agile certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, SAFe, or PMP.
• Technical or hands-on engineering background.
