Commercial Appraiser (Commercial Real Estate)

What you will do

• Engage commercial real estate valuation assignments and define the scope of work.
• Collect data, conduct market research, and analyze highest and best use scenarios.
• Evaluate revenue and expense performance and develop cash flows using discounted cash flow models.
• Analyze comparable sales, detailed costs, and market comparisons to develop opinions of value.
• Complete valuation reports, market studies, feasibility analyses, and consulting projects.
• Support client relationships, business development, and mentorship of less experienced professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Certified General Appraiser license.
• 2–5 years of experience appraising commercial real estate.
• Advanced analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret complex documents, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook/Teams, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Candidate for the MAI designation.
• Experience with Argus Enterprise or Rockport VAL.
