CRE Credit Analyst (Commercial Real Estate)

Location: Houston, TX; office-based. Successful completion of Credit College requires three consecutive weeks in Columbus, Ohio, and periodic travel throughout the company's footprint may be required. Applicants must already be authorized to work full-time in the United States.

What you will do

• Gather and analyze financial and business information to assess borrowers' creditworthiness for loans.
• Prepare written evaluations of borrowers' financial condition and future outlook.
• Identify strengths and risks related to relationship sponsors and guarantors.
• Obtain required documentation and follow up on outstanding items.
• Monitor financial reporting requirements and analyze financial and loan information.
• Develop toward a career as a portfolio manager or relationship manager, including sales responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence, professionalism, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining quality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet resources.
• Current full-time authorization to work in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Internship or work experience in finance, banking, or commercial real estate.
• Customer service skills and a motivated, goal-oriented approach.
