Analyst, Debt & Equity Placement (Commercial Real Estate)

What you will do

• Build and maintain Excel-based financial models covering loan sizing, debt yield, DSCR, LTV/LTC, investment returns, and cash flow projections.
• Support underwriting and analysis of debt and equity placement opportunities across acquisition, development, construction, refinance, and recapitalization transactions.
• Conduct market research, comparable transaction analysis, and financial due diligence across multiple commercial real estate property types.
• Organize rent rolls, operating statements, budgets, appraisals, surveys, leases, reports, and closing documentation.
• Prepare investment memoranda, financing request packages, lender presentations, term sheet summaries, and other client-facing materials.
• Coordinate with clients, lenders, attorneys, consultants, and internal stakeholders while tracking lender outreach, transaction pipelines, and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Internship, analyst program, or transaction-oriented experience in commercial real estate finance, banking, investments, or capital markets is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaboratively, and maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Proficiency with AI-enabled productivity and research tools, with appropriate professional judgment and data confidentiality.

Nice to have

• Experience with ARGUS and commercial real estate financial modeling.
• Experience identifying, researching, and pursuing new business opportunities.
