Environmental Compliance Program Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Le Sueur, Minnesota, United States; occasional travel to local Minnesota sites.

Salary: $97,594–$135,170 per year.

What you will do

• Manage the site’s Title V Air Permit, including performance testing, monitoring, record-keeping, and reporting.
• Direct hazardous and regulated waste programs, including inspections, training, waste characterization, labeling, storage, manifesting, and TSDF coordination.
• Maintain Industrial Stormwater, SWPPP, and SPCC programs through inspections, sampling, reporting, training, and program reviews.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports such as Tier II, TRI, P2PR, EIR, and stormwater monitoring reports.
• Lead agency inspections, environmental compliance projects, training programs, KPI tracking, and compliance-calendar maintenance.
• Investigate environmental and chemical incidents and conduct root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
• 5–8 years of experience in industrial environmental compliance.
• Deep knowledge of EPA regulations, including CAA, CWA, SPCC, RCRA, EPCRA, and applicable 40 CFR requirements.
• Working knowledge of Minnesota environmental regulations.
• Strong communication, data management, critical-thinking, problem-solving, multitasking, and project-management skills.
• Ability to work on an industrial floor, climb ladders and platforms, lift up to 50 lbs., and use required PPE.

Nice to have

• Certified Hazardous Materials Manager certification.
• Hazwoper certification.
• Additional knowledge of 40 CFR 60, Subparts WWWW and ZZZZ.
