Lead Therapist (Mental Health)

Location: Remote, with full-time availability during Pacific Time Zone hours; occasional travel required.

Salary: $90,000 base with an annual bonus of up to $10,000.

What you will do

• Lead and manage a cohort of therapists through regular coaching, feedback, goal setting, development planning, and performance reviews.
• Provide clinical consultation on treatment planning, level-of-care decisions, complex cases, safety escalations, and standards of care.
• Review documentation, conduct chart audits, analyze quality data, and sponsor continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Partner with clinical, operational, care integrity, and HR teams on provider performance, patient concerns, hiring, and department growth.
• Support therapist engagement, retention, onboarding, utilization, schedule optimization, and clinical policy implementation.
• Maintain a reduced clinical caseload for direct patient care while shaping team quality and performance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of clinical experience in mental health.
• At least 5 years of progressive management experience in mental health.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience supporting large teams.
• Active, independent licensure as a clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, or counselor in at least two western states, with the ability to obtain additional licenses.
• Full-time availability during Pacific Time Zone hours.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
