Clinical Admissions Therapist (Michigan)

Location: Remote, United States. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Required availability is 11am–7pm MT or 12pm–8pm MT; weekends are encouraged.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year.

What you will do

• Meet with clients at admission, build rapport, and complete virtual biopsychosocial assessments for children, teens, young adults, and adults.
• Determine appropriateness for the virtual intensive outpatient program and establish treatment needs.
• Construct provisional mental health diagnoses using DSM-5 criteria.
• Present program information and help clients access appropriate care.
• Document client information in the electronic medical record in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate treatment team assignments, group schedules, admissions, benefits verification, utilization review, and referral-provider communication.

Requirements

• Independent licensure in a mental health field is required. Associate-level clinicians working toward full licensure may also be considered.
• Experience completing behavioral health assessments and admissions is preferred.
• Experience with children, teens, young adults, and adults is preferred.
• Native or bilingual English proficiency and United States work authorization are required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable technology is required for uninterrupted, confidential, and compliant telehealth services.
