Full-Stack Product Engineer (AI)

Salary: $150,000–$300,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Own product features from scoping and design through deployment, production iteration, and measurement.
• Design APIs and data models while implementing frontend and backend functionality.
• Build user-facing experiences that balance usability, performance, and product feedback.
• Integrate LLM and AI capabilities into reliable product flows.
• Design and maintain scalable backend services, data schemas, CI/CD, monitoring, testing, and operational tooling.
• Collaborate with founders, product, and design on prioritization, architecture, roadmap decisions, and success metrics.

Requirements

• On-site availability in San Francisco, California, United States
• 2–8 years of software engineering experience shipping user-facing products.
• Strong full-stack skills with TypeScript and React or Next.js, plus Python or Node.js backend development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Production-focused experience integrating LLMs or AI services into applications.
• Product sense, practical problem-solving ability, and comfort working across frontend, backend, and DevOps in a small, ambiguous environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-tenant or enterprise-ready systems, API design, real-time or high-throughput applications.
• Background in healthcare, fintech, legal, or complex internal tooling.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows.
