Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based in New York City, NY, with in-person attendance required for team and client meetings and occasional travel.

Salary: $150,000–$230,000 USD annually

hirify.global is an early-stage healthtech startup building an AI-powered platform that automates prior authorization and payer compliance for surgical and procedural specialties.

What you will do

• Build and maintain integrations with provider practices and insurance systems using APIs, web scrapers, and RPA tooling.
• Join client discovery sessions with the founders to map healthcare workflows and define technical requirements.
• Ship custom integrations quickly and iterate based on live feedback from practice clients.
• Contribute to the core product when integration work is not the bottleneck.
• Develop expertise in the US provider and payer landscape, including prior authorization, benefits verification, and appeals.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of full-stack engineering experience shipping production features.
• Startup experience with broad ownership across the stack and comfort working under ambiguity.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs end to end, from discovery through delivery.
• Proficiency in Python and FastAPI or equivalent backend frameworks, plus React with TypeScript or equivalent frontend technologies.
• Production experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to attend in-person meetings and travel occasionally.

Nice to have

• Experience with web scrapers or RPA solutions.
• AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure experience.
• Production LLM or AI application development experience.
• Experience in US healthcare or provider and payer systems.
