Senior Billing and Collections Analyst (SAP)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end order-to-cash cycle for assigned projects and service contracts, including billing, accounts receivable, collections, payment application, reconciliations, and credit management.
• Develop, implement, and improve billing and collections processes, controls, escalation paths, and governance frameworks.
• Manage billing pipelines, validate invoice readiness, resolve upstream issues, and achieve monthly and quarterly invoicing objectives.
• Manage customer portfolios, payment disputes, collection commitments, credit assessments, exposure monitoring, and bad debt analysis.
• Prepare collection forecasts, receivables analyses, performance reports, aging analysis, and working capital metrics.
• Support audits, maintain process documentation, resolve account discrepancies, and coordinate billing and receivables issues with customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 10 years of progressive relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of billing, accounts receivable, collections, credit management, cash application, and order-to-cash processes.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP FI/AR and SD Billing is required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reconciliations, financial analysis, forecasting, large datasets, DSO, and aging metrics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and customer relationship skills.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP PS/CO, project-based billing, project revenue recognition, and milestone-driven contracts.
• Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and reporting tools.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, order-to-cash transformations, process standardization, or work in multi-entity, multi-currency, or international environments.
