Engagement Manager (Private Capital and Value Creation)

Location: New York, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C., or Toronto. Hybrid work requires being in the local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week. Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required for U.S. office locations.

Salary: $225,000–$240,000 base salary per year, with potential performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Lead operational due diligence and post-deal value creation engagements for private equity investors.
• Manage project workstreams, develop improvement hypotheses, and coordinate data collection, modeling, and analysis.
• Assess cost optimization, top-line growth, go-to-market, pricing, sales drivers, and organizational structure opportunities.
• Estimate the EBITDA impact of potential value creation initiatives.
• Present findings, recommendations, and value enhancement implications to senior clients.
• Mentor consultants and manage project teams to ensure high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in management consulting, private equity, or operational improvement.
• Experience leading operational due diligence projects and implementing post-deal strategies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership and leading teams in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of private equity dynamics, operational frameworks, cost optimization, and revenue enhancement.
• Undergraduate degree from a reputable institution; an MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.
