Leadership Development Program (Automotive)

Location: Onsite at the Skokie Car Care Plus facility in Skokie, Illinois, United States. Service center hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; schedule and shift assignments depend on the position and level.

Salary: $55,000–$80,000 annually, with annual bonus potential based on performance.

What you will do

• Rotate through customer service, sales, operations, and financial performance areas to learn Car Care Center leadership.
• Manage daily operations, including payroll, expenses, inventory, staffing, financial performance, and shop efficiency.
• Monitor sales and financial results and implement action plans to improve performance and profitability.
• Recruit, schedule, coach, develop, and manage employees while maintaining productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
• Partner with area and regional leaders on hiring, compensation, promotions, performance management, and terminations.
• Resolve customer concerns, identify additional customer needs, enforce safety standards, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, and/or technical school certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least two years of leadership experience, including managing direct reports and delivering face-to-face customer service.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including the ability to analyze performance, assess risks, and make sound business decisions.
• Ability to lead teams, build partnerships, communicate effectively, and achieve results through collaboration and accountability.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, grab, lift, and carry automotive parts and equipment weighing up to approximately 80 pounds, work in heat and noise, and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
