District Manager (Self-Storage)

Location: Corpus Christi, TX, USA

Annual compensation: $100,000–$116,000, including base compensation, guaranteed quarterly bonus, and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Recruit, motivate, coach, and retain customer-facing frontline employees.
• Manage a portfolio of multi-unit self-storage locations and execute company operating strategies.
• Oversee facility maintenance, repair systems, vendors, cleaning standards, and safety compliance.
• Coach teams on delinquent tenant processes and auctions to improve retention and reduce delinquency.
• Conduct monthly property audits and address customer inquiries and concerns.
• Use analytics to identify trends, drive sales, and implement district growth strategies.

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership in building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams of non-exempt employees in retail, service, hospitality, or a related industry.
• Experience managing operational audits and payroll budgets.
• Exceptional communication and time management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Passion for sales and customer service excellence; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Ability to relocate for future lateral and promotional opportunities.
• Weekend telephone availability, six peak-season work weekends per year, and occasional travel to other markets.
