Senior Quality Engineer

Location: Maplewood, Minnesota, United States; onsite at the hirify.global Center at least four days per week. Travel may include up to 25% domestic and international travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Salary: $124,127–$151,710 annual expected compensation range, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Drive quality tools for new product introduction, including House of Quality, DQM, MSA, product qualifications, PPAP, PFMEA, DFMEA, and phase-gate quality preparation.
• Ensure compliance with external regulations, customer requirements, internal requirements, and industry standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Analyze quality data using statistical techniques and support data-driven decisions as a subject matter expert.
• Lead continuous improvement and defect-reduction activities using root cause analysis, CAPA, kaizen, 8D, FMEA, MSA, design of experiments, and control plans.
• Review customer product complaints and provide timely feedback and resolution.
• Support existing product evolution through change management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before starting.
• At least three years of experience in a quality or manufacturing setting.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite at the Maplewood, Minnesota location at least four days per week.
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Advanced expertise in quality assurance, product quality control, incoming inspection, Six Sigma, ISO standards, or warranty analysis.
• Experience administering and maintaining ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control and advanced analytical methods.
• Project management, cross-functional leadership, communication, and presentation experience.
