Systems Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite role with approximately 10% travel and remote or onsite support for field personnel as required.

Salary: $138,000–$190,000 per year.

What you will do

• Define and design complex components, modules, and subsystems while contributing to system engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with project marketing and management to understand subsystem requirements and ensure alignment with market requirements.
• Lead architecture brainstorming, evaluate design approaches, and drive subsystem architecture selection.
• Build and qualify prototypes or evaluate outsourced subsystems against detailed specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot engineering issues related to serviceability, manufacturability, integration, and system performance.
• Coordinate system integration, final testing, and reliability testing for new product designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4–7 years of professional experience.
• Experience with mechanical systems required.
• Ability to work across electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software disciplines.
• Experience defining requirements, system architectures, engineering analyses, prototypes, and qualification tests.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, California, with approximately 10% travel.
