Sales Consultant (Furniture & Interior Design)

What you will do

• Guide customers through furniture selection, product comparisons, fabric and leather choices, and the sales process.
• Execute the Comfort Compass process and support team-selling activities to meet daily and monthly sales goals.
• Recommend products, create room sketches, encourage in-home design consultations, and help overcome purchase objections.
• Capture leads and maintain accurate customer information, follow-up actions, and delivery notes in the CRM.
• Follow up with non-purchasing customers within two days and contact customers after delivery.
• Complete sales paperwork, coordinate pickups and deliveries, and maintain store, stockroom, and break-room standards.

Requirements

• Friendly, approachable customer-service style with strong interpersonal and people skills.
• Sales and design experience, excellent closing ability, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Functional knowledge of furniture products, upholstery, fabrics, leather, and furniture categories.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; at least one year of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to work on site in Jacksonville and meet applicable driver-program qualifications if travel or driving is required.
