Bilingual EHS Supervisor (Environmental Health and Safety)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; on-site work at indoor and outdoor worksites

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage classroom and on-site health and safety training programs.
• Develop and maintain safety, environmental, and emergency management programs and policies.
• Investigate accidents and incidents involving security issues, fire, hazardous materials, unsafe conditions, and non-compliance.
• Inspect work areas, equipment, processes, and worksites for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Recommend corrective actions and lead incident response policy development, training, and implementation.
• Supervise employees through hiring, work assignment, performance evaluation, discipline, and safety training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental safety, occupational safety, or a related scientific field.
• Experience researching and interpreting statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry and state of employment.
• Experience training groups and interacting with employees, clients, and regulatory personnel.
• Ability to travel to work sites and work indoors or outdoors as required.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
• Availability for second-shift, variable, on-call, weekend, and other irregular working hours.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in health physics or industrial hygiene.
• Knowledge of state-specific environmental health and safety regulations.
