Sr. HSE Specialist (Contingent)

Salary: $88,300–$132,400 annually, depending on experience.

hirify.global supports the U.S. Army TACOM program through maintenance, repair, overhaul, and sustainment of ground combat, tactical, and support systems.

What you will do

• Lead HSE initiatives by identifying critical, high, and medium-risk processes and implementing appropriate controls.
• Develop HSE reports, track key performance indicators, and analyze trends and statistics.
• Investigate incidents, conduct inspections and audits, and follow up on corrective actions for internal teams, projects, and subcontractors.
• Develop and deliver zero-harm, safety culture, procedural, and legislative training.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members while coordinating with clients, service personnel, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field with at least five years of directly related HSE experience; a high school diploma with seven years of HSE experience may substitute.
• Advanced safety specialist or practitioner certification from a nationally accredited body such as BCSP, ABIH, NEBOSH, or an equivalent organization.
• In-depth knowledge of hirify.global HSE programs, AR 385-10, OSHA 29 CFRs 1904, 1910, and 1926, and host-nation legislation.
• Experience mentoring junior team members, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to improve processes.
• Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme cold or heat and possession of a valid driver’s license.

Nice to have

• HSE experience on U.S. military bases or in military equipment maintenance operations.
• Experience working in austere environments.
• Advanced HSE certifications or specialized training in incident investigation, risk management, or industrial hygiene.
• Experience developing and implementing HSE programs, initiatives, and statistical analyses.
