Network Engineer IV (Cisco ACI)

Location: Remote work from the United States; periodic travel to the Seattle, WA metropolitan area is required. Pacific Northwest residence is preferred but not required.

Salary: $108,253.00–$158,733.30 USD per year, depending on geographic market, skills, knowledge, and experience. Additional incentive compensation, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan may be available.

What you will do

• Design, architect, implement, and support scalable enterprise and multi-datacenter networks across routing, switching, fabric, and security domains.
• Architect and maintain Cisco ACI and Cisco SD-Access fabric environments, including segmentation, policy, tenant, endpoint-group, and control-plane design.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, VXLAN/EVPN, switching, and highly available multi-site architectures.
• Configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPN, and threat prevention.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and escalation of service-impacting network issues.
• Plan network implementations, maintain documentation and diagrams, collaborate with vendors, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Advanced experience designing, configuring, installing, maintaining, and upgrading enterprise network environments.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, the OSI model, switching technologies, BGP, and OSPF.
• Advanced Cisco ACI data-center fabric and Cisco SD-Access campus-fabric expertise.
• Strong knowledge of network security architecture, Palo Alto firewall policies, segmentation, and NAC enforcement using Forescout.
• Working knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, and Brocade equipment.
• CCNP or higher in Routing and Switching, Enterprise, or Data Center is required; CCIE is preferred.

• Wireless certifications.
• Experience serving as a project lead or mentoring less experienced engineers.
