Senior Network Engineer (Palo Alto)

What you will do

• Design, deploy, secure, and support enterprise network services across on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
• Engineer Palo Alto NGFW infrastructure, including policies, NAT, VPN, segmentation, Panorama configuration, and rule lifecycle management.
• Build automated firewall deployment, configuration, monitoring, and remediation workflows using APIs, scripting, orchestration, and AI-assisted tooling.
• Deploy and support Cisco Meraki MX, MS, and MR infrastructure across distributed stores and branches.
• Configure Cisco routing and switching, troubleshoot complex packet-level issues, and improve failover resilience.
• Lead cross-functional networking, cloud, security, and operations initiatives while mentoring engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience across LAN, WAN, security, or cloud environments.
• Strong hands-on Palo Alto firewall experience is required.
• Experience with Cisco routing, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP; Cisco Meraki; and Azure networking.
• Experience operating in a 50/50 build-and-run environment.
• Experience with automation through scripting, APIs, or infrastructure as code.
• Ability to lead technical escalations, document standards, and mentor engineers.

Nice to have

• Palo Alto Panorama APIs, scripting, or orchestration experience.
• Python, Ansible, or Terraform experience.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-driven operations tools or observability platforms.
• CCNP, Palo Alto, or Azure networking certifications.
