Network Engineer IV (Cisco ACI)

Location: Remote work from the United States; Pacific Northwest preferred but not required. Periodic travel to the Seattle, Washington metropolitan area is required, up to 10%.

Salary: $108,253.00–$158,733.30 per year, depending on geographic market, skills, knowledge, and experience. Additional incentive compensation, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan may be available.

What you will do

• Design, architect, implement, and support scalable enterprise and multi-datacenter networks across routing, switching, campus fabric, data-center fabric, and security domains.
• Architect and maintain Cisco ACI and Cisco SD-Access environments, including tenant design, endpoint groups, contracts, overlays, underlays, segmentation, and DNA Center policies.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot BGP and OSPF environments, including route redistribution, policy control, and multi-site architectures.
• Build highly available Nexus, ACI, and SD-Access infrastructure using VXLAN/EVPN and fabric-based redundancy.
• Configure and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls and network access control policies using Forescout or Aruba ClearPass.
• Lead complex troubleshooting, escalation handling, implementation planning, peer design reviews, documentation, vendor integration, mentoring, and on-call support.

Requirements

• 8–11 years of relevant experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, the OSI model, switching, BGP, OSPF, Cisco ACI, and Cisco SD-Access.
• Strong knowledge of network security architecture, Palo Alto Networks firewall policies, segmentation, and NAC enforcement.
• Experience with network automation and infrastructure as code using Python and Ansible.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field; relevant additional experience may substitute at management discretion. High school diploma or equivalent is also required.
• CCNA or higher required; CCNP or CCIE preferred.

Nice to have

• Wireless certifications.
• Experience with Juniper, Brocade, and other multi-vendor networking equipment.
