Manufacturing Engineer (ALD), Weekend

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $78,500–$108,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate the release of product improvements and new products with other engineering functions.
• Apply engineering and Design for Excellence principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Establish time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies.
• Perform Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, identify root causes, define corrective actions, and prepare reports for assembly and system testing issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Conceptual and technical knowledge for everyday manufacturing problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including extended standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and working in tight spaces.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools and, when required, use clean-room personal protective equipment.
