Mechanical Test Engineer Co-Op

Location: Chaska, Minnesota, United States; onsite laboratory work

Salary: $20–$30 per hour, depending on overall skills

What you will do

• Characterize and analyze wafer and reticle handling products and technologies using laboratory equipment.
• Analyze test data, prepare test reports and PowerPoint presentations, and present findings.
• Collaborate with team members on mechanical testing projects.
• Develop creative, robust test methods with a strong focus on product reliability.
• Design, build, and test laboratory equipment and test fixtures.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2027 or later.
• Industrial Engineering majors graduating in Spring 2027 or later may also be considered.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in product testing, laboratory experimentation, data analysis, and problem-solving.
• Effective communication, documentation, presentation, and teamwork skills.
• Currently enrolled as a student and familiar with university co-op participation requirements.
• Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., January through June.
