Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A (Consumer Goods)

What you will do

• Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning.
• Build customer-specific forecasts incorporating trade spend, pricing, commodity costs, and consumer demand trends.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analyses, management reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and financial reports.
• Develop financial models for product launches, pricing, profitability, and ad hoc business cases.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to evaluate initiatives, promotional effectiveness, product performance, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Improve reporting and data analytics through existing platforms and AI-enabled tools, including executive-level analysis and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience, preferably in FP&A or Commercial/Category Finance within CPG or food and beverage.
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, financial statements, GAAP, and CPG metrics.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and macros.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools, plus ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets, communicate recommendations, collaborate cross-functionally, and manage multiple priorities.
