Application Engineer (Sealing)

What you will do

• Support sealing solutions for static and dynamic applications, including O-rings and emerging electrification and eMobility technologies.
• Analyze warranty data, field performance, and teardown findings to identify root causes and drive quality improvements.
• Collaborate with materials, tribology, CAE, program management, and external customers to solve technical challenges.
• Provide technical input for customer programs, component reviews, and program management meetings.
• Develop and update seal designs using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and NX.
• Lead or support corrective actions, plant quality alignment, value analysis/value engineering, customer training, and application support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environment.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and application documentation.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or NX.
• Strong communication, organization, self-direction, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
