Universal Banker I

Location: On-site full-time in Vancouver-Hastings and Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. Flexibility to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance is required.

What you will do

• Meet with personal and business clients to understand their priorities and recommend suitable financial products and solutions.
• Develop forward-looking financial plans using knowledge of technology, cash management, credit, investments, and wealth protection.
• Build and deepen client relationships through outreach, marketing activities, and community engagement.
• Introduce clients to mobile and online banking applications and help them manage their banking needs digitally.
• Connect clients with the appropriate internal specialists, products, and opportunities.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working with clients and achieving sales results.
• Current accreditation and good standing with a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada.
• Client-focused, goal-oriented, detail-oriented, and capable of critical thinking and group problem solving.
• Strong relationship-building skills, curiosity, and commitment to trust, teamwork, and accountability.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified Canadian location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Flexibility to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel between nearby banking centres.

Nice to have

• Prior banking experience in a similar capacity.
