AVP, Branch Manager (Mortgage)

Location: Minneapolis, MN — 8400 Normandale Lake Blvd. Ste 936

Salary: Estimated minimum of $43,888 per year, plus monthly commissions, team-production overrides, and eligibility for a quarterly Branch Manager bonus.

What you will do

• Lead loan officers and drive branch production, growth, efficiency, and profitability.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and mentor loan officers with established referral networks.
• Build partnerships with realtors, builders, and local professionals to expand purchase-loan referrals and market presence.
• Manage the loan origination process from initial contact through closing.
• Monitor production activity, schedules, time off, commission reports, overtime, and team performance.
• Promote collaboration, customer service, integrity, and constructive performance development across sales and operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of mortgage loan origination experience.
• 2+ years of management experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and collaborative communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Excel.
• Thorough understanding of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, compliance criteria, and analysis of credit, capacity, assets, and collateral.
• Ability to handle personal matters discreetly and maintain current knowledge of industry practices and market indicators.
