Salary: $63,000–$90,000 per year, plus commission, bonus opportunities, and benefits

What you will do

• Proactively solicit and originate residential mortgage business through internal and external referral sources.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate with applicants and referral partners throughout the loan origination process.
• Submit complete credit applications, review credit files and qualifications, and recommend appropriate loan products and pricing.
• Counsel applicants, request timely rate locks, and support loan production and quality goals.
• Develop professional, community, and referral relationships while cross-selling other banking products and services.
• Maintain compliance with bank policies, federal and state regulations, third-party requirements, and vendor processes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of mortgage origination or sales experience preferred.
• NMLS Registry registration and annual renewal under the SAFE Act are required as a condition of employment.
• Knowledge of banking laws, regulations, retail mortgage origination, and loan pricing.
• Knowledge of conventional and government loan programs, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, USDA-Rural Housing, and VA loans.
• Experience with Ellie Mae Encompass, Freddie Mac Loan Product Advisor, and Optimal Blue is required.
• Strong sales, networking, organizational, collaboration, and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet production and quality goals.
