Mechanical Estimator

Location: Remote, available in Dallas, New York, Tempe, Bellevue, Calgary, Vancouver, Lansdale, Chicago, or Los Angeles

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 per year, depending on skills, education, and experience

What you will do

• Support estimate plans and coordinate estimating information with project teams.
• Assist with project estimates covering mechanical scopes.
• Prepare and maintain Bases of Estimate and supporting cost documentation.
• Review drawings, specifications, quantities, and project information to identify scope and cost requirements.
• Support estimate risk analysis, cost contingencies, value engineering, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Research labor, material, and equipment rates and collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience as an Estimator, ideally in construction or a mechanical environment.
• Experience with mechanical estimating, quantity takeoffs, pricing, or cost planning.
• Experience with estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, CostX, or similar platforms.
• A degree, diploma, or comparable experience in construction, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and a quality-focused approach.
• Professional location eligibility is limited to the listed US and Canadian locations.
