Capital Partners Onboarding / Asset Transfer Specialist

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid with a minimum of three days per week in the office

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 base salary per year, plus annual bonus target

What you will do

• Support onboarding and maintenance of complex accounts and relationships for multi-family office and institutional clients.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing security transfers, including mutual funds, alternative assets, private assets, restricted securities, DRS/DWAC transfers, and physical certificates.
• Review client statements, assess asset serviceability, coordinate with custody and operations teams, and reconcile expected versus received assets.
• Review account documentation, support AML/KYC processes, process maintenance requests, and generate transfer confirmation letters.
• Act as an escalation point for client and operational issues while partnering with Front Office, Risk, Service Delivery, and other support teams.
• Identify control gaps, streamline workflows, and collaborate with Systems and Change Management on process automation and integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 0–2 years of experience.
• Understanding of asset transfer methods, custody functions, and portfolio accounting.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC procedures, risk awareness, and the ability to identify and escalate issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, organization, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to design efficient workflows, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and resolve problems.
• Understanding of DTC, Addvantage, mutual funds, equities, Euroclear, settlements, and transfers is preferred.
