Global Banking & Markets Operations - Prime Brokerage & BD Ops - New York - Associate (Trade Processing)

Location: New York, NY, United States; onsite office position

Salary: $80,000–$135,000 base salary per year, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Settle client trades and resolve trade-related issues with Prime Brokerage clients and external brokers.
• Manage a book of clients and provide service across the trade life cycle.
• Investigate client queries, internal book and record exceptions, and operational issues.
• Escalate issues and maintain strong risk management and control standards.
• Analyze and improve processes to reduce risk and eliminate repetitive effort.
• Influence client behavior and support superior operational outcomes.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in client service, preferably in a broker-dealer or financial services environment.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to present complex information clearly and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple client deadlines.
• Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, teamwork, and client service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and experience identifying risk and control enhancements.
• Ability to manage smaller projects, influence stakeholders, and implement change.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis.
• VBA coding and Excel or Outlook macro experience.
