TL;DR
Sr. Software Engineer (MANTL) (Node.js/Python/Go/TypeScript): Building core experiences for bank administrators and customers through streamlined user flows, robust REST APIs, and third-party integrations with an accent on microservices, domain-driven design, and long-term code quality. Focus on designing scalable services, solving complex product requirements, and improving reliability through testing, error handling, logging, and edge-case analysis.
Location: Remote within the United States
Salary: $130,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do
- Build core user experiences for bank administrators and customers.
- Craft streamlined user flows and robust REST APIs.
- Integrate services with third-party software such as Plaid and SendGrid.
- Design and develop backend services using Node.js, Python, Go, and TypeScript.
- Provide technical guidance, suggestions, and code reviews for teammates.
- Advocate for architectural decisions and balance system design trade-offs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience with backend technologies.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservice architecture, and domain-driven design.
- Exposure to ReactJS and NestJS.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Strong system design, architecture, testing, documentation, error-handling, and logging skills.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States; employment sponsorship is not available.
