Software Engineer II (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack AI-driven web applications and microservices using Python, Java, and React.
• Build, deploy, and optimize RESTful backend services with FastAPI and Flask for real-time document processing and large-scale data pipelines.
• Develop researcher dashboards, administrative consoles, and data visualization interfaces with React.
• Integrate LLM APIs and RAG pipelines into production systems for intelligent document processing, semantic search, and automated generation.
• Design data storage and retrieval solutions across PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Deploy and monitor Docker-based microservices on AWS and collaborate with AI researchers, product managers, designers, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• At least 3 years of full-stack AI software development experience, including backend APIs and modern frontend frameworks.
• Professional experience with Python, Java or an equivalent object-oriented language, JavaScript, and React.
• At least 2 years of experience with FastAPI and/or Flask, distributed RESTful APIs, LLM API integration, and RAG frameworks such as LangChain.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, NLP techniques, and libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, or scikit-learn.
• Experience deploying containerized applications with Docker on AWS, including S3, and collaborating with AI researchers to bring models into production.
