Scheduling Specialist Associate (Healthcare)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations may be required as business needs require. Applicants must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $15.75–$20.90 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Schedule and pre-register patients for diagnostic procedures based on physician orders.
• Select accurate medical records to support patient safety.
• Provide procedure instructions and validate demographic and insurance information.
• Perform point-of-service collections and financial counseling when appropriate.
• Support regulatory compliance and complete other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Obtain Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification within 9 months of hire.
• One to three years of work experience, including healthcare-related experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance companies and pre-authorizations is required.
• Patient access experience, typing speed of at least 35 WPM, intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, and experience using multiple computer systems and dual screens.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States; onsite travel may be required.
