Supply Chain Manager (Aerospace)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; onsite at the Northern California headquarters. Domestic and international travel of approximately 15–20% is required.

Base salary: $110,000–$165,000 USD annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the full procurement lifecycle for strategic satellite flight hardware, from vendor evaluation and contract execution through delivery and post-launch support.
• Develop sourcing strategies for complex electro-mechanical products across payload, antenna, mechanical, and guidance, navigation, and control assemblies.
• Lead RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes, commercial negotiations, and supplier contract finalization.
• Negotiate NDAs, Statements of Work, supply agreements, master purchase agreements, and related commercial contracts.
• Build long-term relationships with strategic suppliers and evaluate their commercial and technical performance.
• Work with design, engineering, finance, program management, and production teams; place purchase orders for medium- to high-value components.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or comparable experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in software procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or related supply chain disciplines.
• Experience negotiating high-value hardware contracts.
• Excellent communication skills and a record of managing strategic external relationships.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams and communicating with executive stakeholders.
• Strong organization and attention to detail when managing multiple contracts and vendor relationships.

Nice to have

• Background in aerospace, engineering, or new technology.
• Experience with New Production Introduction or Technical Program Management.
