Engineering Manager (Civil & Station Engineering)

Location: Greater Toronto Area, with in-office presence in Downtown Toronto three to five days per week; hybrid workplace. Occasional local travel to project sites is required.

What you will do

• Oversee technical delivery, engineering assurance, and technical risk management across a portfolio of civil and station projects.
• Coordinate technical integration across Civil, Station, Track, and Railway Systems Project Delivery Teams.
• Lead integrated design reviews, interface discussions, design deconfliction, and technical issue resolution.
• Manage design hazards, risks, assurance procedures, CMREA requirements, and submissions to review and safety panels.
• Prepare project management plans, execution plans, deployment strategies, and performance reports.
• Review Primavera P6 baseline schedules to identify anomalies across design and construction activities.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent in a related engineering field.
• At least 8 years of engineering experience, including at least 5 years on multidisciplinary rail transit projects.
• Experience with civil and structural engineering delivery, railway systems engineering, systems safety, engineering assurance, and risk evaluation.
• Knowledge of applicable rail, transport, safety, building, environmental, and regulatory standards, including Metrolinx requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and technical communication skills.
• Based in or open to relocating to the Greater Toronto Area, with regular Downtown Toronto office attendance.
