Infrastructure & Capital Projects- Utilities Project Manager (Electrical Utilities)

Location: Mays Landing, New Jersey, United States; hybrid work with remote, client-site, and hirify.global office work

What you will do

• Own overall performance for complex, high-risk utility projects, including scope, quality, schedule, cost, and innovation.
• Manage project finances, environmental considerations, regulatory requirements, stakeholder relationships, and contractor invoices.
• Act as the primary communicator with sponsors, customers, program leadership, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate project teams, contractors, work groups, resources, responsibilities, and deliverables.
• Lead project meetings, presentations, status reporting, task plans, spending plans, and communication plans.
• Manage project costs and develop recovery plans to keep delivery within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• At least five years of experience in electrical utilities project management.
• Experience administering large-dollar projects and delivering electric transmission and substation construction projects.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting role requirements.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or willingness to obtain it within one year.
• Experience coordinating scope across multiple work groups or contractors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety policies and project management concepts.
